Description

Collet is a mechanical clamping device used to hold the electrode in position within the TIG welding torch.
It also known as chucks. It is sized according to the diameter of the electrode used.
In gas tungsten arc welding, the shielding gas flows through specially designed holes in the collet body and out through the nozzle.
